Yep, so this entry is basically me procrastinating on all the other things I have to do at the moment!

So, I always think it's the weirdest thing when I see people mention my stuff here on DA. Recently my stuff was featured in an article on fan fiction [link] which was sort of weird and rewarding at the same time. There are several other times where I've had moments like these. ~limey404 did a comic after a story I wrote for her [link] and while this was not a surprise (mainly because I wrote it SO she could do the comic), some of the reactions were... interesting. More on that in a second.

The thing is, it's always a surreal experience to come across art about stuff I've written, ESPECIALLY if I have no idea who that person is. A prime example: I was meandering through some art when I saw a picture that looked oddly familiar to me, so I clicked it to discover that it was based off of something I'd written! [link]
As flattered as I was, as I read some of the comments like "Oh I love Invaderk's stuff!" I noticed that 90% of the people were those I had never heard from. Considering the small amount of people who review/comment as opposed to those who I actually hear from in circumstances like these, it makes me wonder who is actually reading all this crap I write!

I can't help but think (in a Patrick Star voice): WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE? And why the hell don't I have a clue as to who you are?



On a side note: Apparently New York ComiCon might be Avatarded? If so, YOU WILL GO TO THIS.
